Speech Job – Band 6 – Basildon |£23 - £28 per hour
Speech Therapy

Location: BASILDON
Band: 6
Start: ASAP
Duration: 4 to 6 weeks
Working Pattern: Mon to Fri 37.5hrs a week

The person will be required to:

  • Input evaluations from teaching, training courses
  • Produce certificates
  • Answer telephones, take messages
  • Help to assist with refreshments for training courses
  • Assist with running and set up of rooms for training courses, exams etc.
  • Filing
  • Photocopying
  • Assist Front of House Admin when the centre is busy
  • Induction/Exam packs
  • Data Entry

The person will need to be independent in the assessment and management of adult patients with acquired disorders of communication and swallowing. Must be fully independent in the assessment and management of dysphagia.

Experience with videofluoroscopy is desired but not essential.

Acute hospital experience is desirable but not essential but must have at least 6 months working either with a community caseload of adult patients or an acute adult caseload
