Role: Neuro Head of Clinical Services

Salary: £50k + 20% management bonus based on service delivery.

Duties of a Neuro Head of Clinical Services?

The new Neuro Head of Clinical Services will Ensure the service establishes and maintains relationships with existing and potential referral and placement funding sources. Monitor and maintain occupancy and acuity levels. Monitor and maintain staffing ratios and levels consistent with budget, occupancy and acuity. In consultation with the Neuro Service Director and other members of the senior leadership team monitor and maintain good working relationships across the service and with allied professionals including GPs, consultants, specialist NHS services; specialist independent services/professionals.

Am I the right person for this role?

  • Qualified healthcare professional (such as registered nurse, physiotherapist) with comprehensive and up to date clinical knowledge and skills relevant to the leading competent nursing, care and therapy services provided to adults with complex neurological conditions. This includes people with complex disabilities (and sometimes brittle health) – physical, cognitive, communication, consciousness, challenging behaviour, respiratory) arising from brain/spinal injury and complex neurological conditions
  • Ability to work in a potentially emotionally challenging environment
  • Warm, considerate and empathetic character
