Hours per week: Mon – Fri 9am – 5.30pm

Job Purpose
Ensure that all manufacturing activities within the Labelling Room are compliant to GMP

Duties & Responsibilities

* Assist the Superintendent Pharmacist, Quality and Compliance Manager in ensuring that the guidelines on Good Distribution Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice are complied with
* You will manage the Labelling Team to ensure that GMP requirements are adhered to; ensure that products are produced and stored according to the appropriate standards of quality; approve the instructions relating to production operations and ensuring their strict implementation; ensure that all production records are fully completed before submission to one of the contracted QP’s; check the maintenance of the department, premises and equipment; ensure that the required initial and continuing training of the departments personnel is carried out and adapted according to need, retention of records, monitoring of compliance with GMP, ensure timely and effective communication to raise quality issues to the appropriate levels of management
* To perform any other professional duties as requested by the Superintendent Pharmacist, Quality and Compliance Manager.

Requirements
* UK registered Pharmacist
* Experience of pre-packing/assembly of pharmaceutical products preferred
