Salary: £38,000 – £40,000 (plus 2 month bonus)

Details:

To maintain and improve the Quality Management System in compliance with current GDP/GMP as well as provide regulatory, pharmaceutical, product and professional advice to all stakeholders.

Duties:

* Ensure that the guidelines on Good Distribution Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice are complied with
* Assist the pharmacist team in the production (Labelling) facility
* Deputise for the Responsible Person in his absence
* Provide pharmaceutical and professional advice to all stakeholders. Recommend appropriate products to meet current regulations; serve as subject matter expert
* Ensure that the operations do not compromise the quality of medicines
* Assist in the internal audit of the quality system and to carry out independent audits
* Provide timely and accurate production of quotations, proposals, orders, issuance of compliance certificate and contracts as requested.
* Support for tenders of the CSM and provide data and reports to help the sales team
* Provide assistance to the executives and management team on client issues
* Assist in setting up/arranging and/or attending special events which may include client visits, and on-board vessel inspections on an as-needed basis
* Fulfil the obligations of a registered pharmacist as stated by the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Attend suitable training events for Pharmacists working within the site as recommended
* Demonstrate proficiency with the company’s ERP system
* Ensure familiarity with regulatory requirements of client sectors as allocated
* Ensure timely and effective problem resolution for any client query. This may include commercial and/or regulatory advice for which guidance from the pharmacist team may be sought
* To perform any other professional duties as requested by the Superintendent Pharmacist, Quality and Compliance Manager.

  • Proven, successful work history as a pharmacist
  • Related experience in dealing with UK regulatory and licensing authorities within the pharmaceutical industry or allied field desirable
  • Work history within the ‘quality’ environment or an appreciation of the requirements desirable
  • UK registered Pharmacist
