Job Type: Permanent

Reports to: Finance Manager

Benefits: 27 days of annual leave

Pension Scheme consisting of 6% employee contribution and 6% employer

 

Summary

  • The Finance Officer will be provide accounting support and be responsible for the timely production of accounting information for multiple companies.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Ledger / Credit Control
    • Entering and allocation of payments received onto Patient Management System and financial system
    • Ensuring patient’s payment records are up to date and accurate
    • To ensure all debts are paid in accordance with payment terms and to contact patients regarding overdue payments
    • Process refunds due to patients for cancelled treatments
  • Purchase Ledger
    • Coding and entering all purchase ledger invoices received onto the correct company’s Sage financial system
    • Ensuring all invoices are appropriately authorised before being released for payment
    • Reconciliation of supplier statements and ensuring all records are up to date and accurate
  • Cash and bank reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Generating monthly internal financial reports
  • Other financial administration as required

 

Qualifications/experience required

  • Relevant book-keeping / accountancy qualification
  • Experience of working in a finance environment
  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger and credit control
  • Excellent communication
  • Able to prioritise workload effectively, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality of work
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Possess strong IT skills
  • Be able to manage a busy and varied workload
  • High level of resilience
  • Highly motivated, driven to deliver
